32. TRADITIONAL FARM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM EACH BREEDER RABBIT HAS ASIGNED ONE NUMBER AND IS PLACED IN ONE FIXED CAGE.
THERE IS ONE CARD FOR EACH BREEDER RABBIT CONTAINING ALL THE WORK CARRIED OUT.
THERE IS A METHOD TO PUT THE CARDS ON THE DAY WE HAVE TO DO THE WORK
EACH DAY WE HAVE TO TAKE THE CARDS FROM THE PLANING BOARD AND GO TO THE CAGES TO DO THE DIFFERENT WORKS.
AS THE ANIMALS HAVE THEIR OWN RHYTHM THE MATING IS DONE ANY DAY DEPENDING OF THEIR PHYSIOLOGICAL SITUATION.
33. MANAGEMENT OF REPRODUCTION
34. CYCLES AS YOU SEE, THE WORKS TO DO WITH THE ANIMALS COULD HAVE A SET CYCLICAL PERIOD.
THEREFORE THE DAY OF MATING OR INSEMINATION DETERMINES THE DIFERENT DATES FOR THE FOLLOWING WORKS.
THIS OBSERVATION GIVES US THE POSSIBILITY TO USE A WORK PLANNING BOARD TO PUT THE INDIVIDUAL CARDS ON AND HAVE THE WORK PROGRAMED FOR EACH DAY
35. WORK PLANING
36. WORKS DISTRIBUTION WITH THE TRADITIONAL RABBIT FARM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
37. CONCLUSION EACH DAY WE HAVE TO DO PRACTICALLY ALL THE WORKS.
AS WE HAVE THE DOES DISTRIBUITED IN ALL THE SHED IT IS NECCESARY TO CHANGE ACTIVITY EACH TIME OR WALK MORE TO FIND THE DIFFERENT ANIMALS.
WITH THIS MANUAL SYSTEM THE MAXIMMUN NUMBER OF DOES WE CAN MANAGE WILL BE 200 PER PERSON.
38. HOW WE CAN OVERCOME THIS LIMITATION? “BATCH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”
39. WHAT IS THE BATCH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM? THE UNIT OF WORK ON THE FARM IS NOT INDIVIDUAL DOES BUT ONE GROUP OF THEM.
WE CAN CHOOSE THE NUMBER OF GROUPS WE DO DEPENDING ON THE INTERVAL BETWEEN KINDLES. NORMALLY WE WILL APLY 42 DAYS (6 WEEKS).
THE NUMBER OF GROUPS CAN BE 1,2,3 OR 6. LESS THAN 3 GROUPS, MUST BE DECIDED ONLY WITH ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION SYSTEM.
THE ANIMALS OF ONE GROUP WILL BE LOCATED IN CONSECUTIVE CAGES SO WE CAN HAVE MORE EASY ACCESS TO THEM.
DOES CONFORMING EACH GROUP WILL BE MATED OR INSEMINATED ON THE SAME DAY AND FROM THIS DATE WE PROGRAM ALL THE WORKS TO BE DONE WITH HER, THE ANIMAL DOES NOT DECIDE THE MOMENT OF PRODUCTION BUT IT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE FARMER FOLLOWING THE CYCLES OF THE PRODUCTION PROGRAM.
WE WILL USE THE CORRESPONDING HORMONES TO INDUCE THE HEAT OF THE DOES THAT COMPOSE ONE GROUP AT THE SAME TIME.
40. BATCH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
41. HOW WE DO THE GROUP? THE TOTAL NUMBER OF NEST CAGES IN THE FARM ARE DIVIDED BY THE NUMBER OF GROUPS WE HAVE DECIDED. (If we have 600 cages and we have decided on 3 groups, the number of cages will be 200 for each one)
THE NUMBER OF DOES OF EACH GROUP MUST BE MORE THAN THE CAGES BECAUSE WE HAVE TO OBTAIN THE SAME OR MORE NUMBER OF KINDLES THAN THE CAGES OF THE GROUP. (If we have to obtain 200 available kindles, and we have 65% of success, we need mating or inseminate 308 does)
EACH 1, 2, 3 OR 6 WEEKS WE ARE MATING/INSEMINATING ALL THE DOES OF ONE GROUP.
WE INTRODUCE IN THE GROUP THAT WE HAVE TO INSEMINATE THE REPLACEMENT DOES WE NEED OR WE HAVE PROGRAMMED AND THE NOT POSITIVES DOES COMING FROM THE PREVIOUS ONE.
THE BUCKS CAN BE USED TWO TIMES IN ONE DAY. LESS THAN 3 GROUPS, IS NOT ECONOMICALLY FEASIBLE BECAUSE WE NEED TO MANY BUCKS. IT IS BETTER TO USE A.I.
42. ONLY ONE BATCH SYSTEM IS THE LAST FARM MANAGEMENT DEVELOPED IN EUROPE.
IT CONSITS OF INSEMINATING ALL THE DOES OF ONE FARM ON THE SAME DAY.
IT IS NECESSARY 2 SHEDS WITH THE SAME DIMENSIONS.
EACH 42 DAYS WE SEND ALL THE PRODUCTION TO THE SLOUTERHOUSE,WE DO A TOTAL CLEANING AND DISINFECTION OF ONE BUILDING AND ITS EQUIPMENT AND WE MOVE THE DOES TO THE CLEANED SHED.

50. CONCLUSION THE FARM RABBIT BREEDING IS A IMPORTANT ECONOMICAL ACTIVITY IN ALL THE WORD.
AUSTRALIA HAS THE BEST CONDITIONS (CLIMA, ROW MATERIALS, THECNICAL PEOPLES) TO DEVELOP THIS ACTIVITY AND OBTAIN VERY GOOD PROFITS.
