  3. What is an SFP Module? Small Form Factor Pluggable (SPF) is basically a fiber optic module that fits into an SFP socket or port on an Ethernet switch/media converter used for conversion of Ethernet signals into optical signals to transfer data. • VERSITRON INC

  4. How Does SFP Work? Different SFP fiber modules work at different wavelengths. Each SFP transceiver features a laser that operates between the transmitting side (TX) and the receiving side (RX).
