What is StudentAid.gov? • Federal Student Aid’s new streamlined website with comprehensive information on the student aid lifecycle • Released July 15, 2012 • Available at www.studentaid.gov • Target vision: move all student- and borrower-facing content and functionality
Who is it for? • Potential and current students and borrowers, no matter their age • Parents, counselors, and influencers • English and Spanish speakers • Mobile users on the go • Financial aid administrators!
Why did we create it? • Establish customer-focused Web experience for students and borrowers • Simplify, streamline, and update FSA’s Web presence • Support FSA’s focus on customer experience • Many timely drivers • Feedback from users • …and because there was room for improvement…
