The RCU has worked to create a system that contains CTE assessments that are valid, reliable, and fair. The methodology is continually adapted to facilitate the creation of tests that appropriately assess the knowledge, skills, and abilities and provide positive information for educators, students, parents, and state leaders. • QUALITY Strive forExcellence

2018-19 Programs with Required/FreeCert Exams • Automotive Service Technician • Collision Repair Technician • Diesel Service Technician Carpentry Electrical HVAC Welding Industrial Maintenance Heavy Equipment Operation Information Technology Transportation Logistics (Year 2) QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT: Passing MS-CPAS Y1 and Y2 assessments (Completer) • Year 1 Culinary Arts students with a passing MS-CPAS Y1 score have the option to take a level 1 national certification exam. • Year 2 Culinary Arts students with a passing MS-CPAS Y2 score have the option to take a level 2 national certification exam.
MS-CPAS Reports • Access: CTE Directors or Counselors have access to reports. Reports are available in PDF and CSV format. • Longitudinal: Student, Class, and State reports are available online from Fall 2010 to Present.
