  3. 1. Going shopping Imagine you have just won a million pounds and you want to buy a nice, new car. How do you choose one?

  4. 2. “Search-off” • Work through the first step of EBP. • Allocate sources of evidence to participants. • Give them 10 minutes to find the evidence. • Compare experiences.

  5. Top Tips • Collect scenarios • Keep participants away from computers • Don’t assume step 1 of the EBP process • Store all your links on a social bookmarking site • Be prepared for technology failures • Allow time for experience-sharing • Remind people about online help and libraries
