A special Invitation Join Author Sarah Rickman July 7, 2014, 7:00 p.m. at Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center Intersection of State Route 444 and Kauffman Road 2380 Memorial Road, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. You are invited to be part of the premiere of a new short documentary Dorothy Scott, an Original, and the release of a new work of fiction Flight From Fear. Though fiction, the book is an historically accurate account of the Women’s Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron— the first squadron of women who eventually became known as WASP. Sarah Rickman lives in Centerville, has four previous books about the WASP, three nonfiction and one fiction. She has been researching and writing about the WASP since 1991. A former newspaper journalist, Sarah is the oral historian for the WASP’s and the editor of the WASP newsletter. She also pilots a Piper Cub.
