  2. Summery of the 1st Chapter 1.Things (existents) are not arisen from itself, from others, from both and from non-cause in any day, anywhere. 2.There are four conditions. Such as: Primary condition (cause or reason) (hetu), Objectively supporting condition (Alambana), Immediately adjoining condition (Anantara), Dominent condition (Adhipati).

  3. Summery of the 1st chapter 3.The nature of things are not evident in the conditions. If the self-nature is not evident of things how one can talk about other nature. 4.When producing effect from the condition (kriya) that procedure is not with the condition and not without the condition.

  4. Summery of the 1st chapter 5.These are conditions, because“Depending on them these (others) arise”. If this is the case, as long as they do not produce they must be called non-conditions (Apratyaya). 6.If the thing exists in reality. Then there is no need of conditions to support that thing. If the thing not exists in reality.

  5. Summery of 1st Chapter What use the condition on the thing. 7. A thing (dharma) which is existent, non-existent, existent or non-existent cannot produce. If this is the case how there be a producing cause.

  6. Summery of the 1st chapter Hetu Pratyaya discarded now crtically evaluate the Alambana pratyaya. 8. A thing that exists (Sat dharma) is indicated as being without objective support. When a thing is without objective support, for what purpose is an objective support.

  7. Summery of the 1st Chapter After rejection the Alambana pratyaya (objective support) then try to evaluate Anantara pratyaya (immediate condition). 9. When the things are not arisen from conditions, cessation (Nirodha) is not appropriate. When thing has ceased (Niruddhe) what it is serve as condition.

  8. Summery of 1st chapter 10. Sice the existents are devoid of self-nature, their existence are not evident. (If this is the case) “When that exists, this comes to be” (Asmin sati idam bhavati). Will not be appropriate. 11. The effect does not exist in the condition that are separated or combined. Then how effect will appear from

  9. Summery of 1st chapter • Conditions (Pratyaya) when there are nothing in the conditions. 12. If non-existent (Asat) is produced from those conditions, why not produce an effect from non-conditions. 13. The effect is made out of conditions, but the conditions are themselves not self-made

  10. Summery of 1st chapter • The effect which is produced from something which is not self-made how can say that has originated from conditions? 14. Therefore effect is not made of conditions, not made from non-conditions, When there is no effect where the conditions or non conditions are evident.
