White Hat • Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin was the first human in outer space. Yuri Gagarin was born on 1934 9th March in Klushino, Russia. His parents name are Alexey Ivanovich Gagarin (father) and Anna TimofeyevnaGagarina (mother). He worked as a Cosmonaut and a jet fighter. Yuri Gagarin’s selection was Air Force Group 1 his rank of his job was Colonel (Polkovnik), Soviet Air Forces. Signature of Yuri Gagarin Soyuz 1 Vostok 1
Timeline (white hat) • In his youth, Gagarin became interested in space and planets. After studying for one year at a vocational technical school in Lyubertsy, Gagarin was selected for further training at a technical high school in Saratov. While there, he joined the "AeroClub", and learned to fly a light aircraft, a hobby that would take up an increasing portion of his time. • 2. In 1955, after completing his technical schooling, he entered military flight training at the Orenburg Pilot's School. While there he met ValentinaGoryacheva, whom he married in 1957, after gaining his pilot's wings in a MiG-15. Post-graduation, he was assigned to Luostari airbase in Murmansk Oblast, close to the Norwegian border, where terrible weather made flying risky. He became a Lieutenant (assistant) in the Soviet Air • Force on 5 November 1957 and on 6 November 1959 he received the rank of Senior Lieutenant. • 3. In 1960 Yuri Gagarin was chosen to be a space pilot to control the spaceship Soyuz 1 and the space capsule Vostok 1. • Gagarin was 1.57 meters (5 ft 2 in) tall, which was an advantage in the small Vostok 1 cockpit. • 4.Yuri Gagarin was sent a mission in 1961April 12 he is using the Vostok 1 and Soyuz 1 to orbit the Earth for 1 hour 48 minutes.
Yellow hat • Yuri Gagarin was so famous after he orbited the Earth using the Vostok 1 and Soyuz 1 spacecraft. • He won many prizes and tributes and also legacies because of his biggest and successful journey to space until his picture was inside the Russian silver coin until 2001 to celebrate his 50 the anniversary. Until his sculpture was displayed in the aeronautics Moscow museum Russia. • He got more facts about Earth’s continent, mountains, oceans and geographic knowledge about Earth and its sites (He did observation in geographical knowledge).
Black Hat • He spent a lot of money for the big trip to space. • The booster of Soyuz 1, the space craft rocket made a lot of pollution because of the launching process. • Yuri Gagarin died in 1968 because of another jet crashed when he practiced driving the MIG 15 in the jet airbase in Chkalovsky Russia. His body was covered in ashes because of the crash located near Kremlin square (Moscow). Moscow Kremlin square
Green Hat • We can learn to be a risk taker and open minded from Yuri Gagarin’s experiences. Yuri Gagarin teaches us to be risk taker because Yuri Gagarin risks his life to complete his mission and to represent his country. Yuri Gagarin also teaches us to be open-minded because Yuri Gagarin also participates to be a cosmonaut and try new things that others had never done before.
Blue Hat • The Vostok 1 could be added more modern technologies such as digital camera viewer so that we can look Earth closely, solar panels to help increase energy volume, automatic weather forecaster, etc that will improves its observation progress and result. • The Soyuz 1 could be added the solar panel so the energy from Soyuz 1 can be divided (half fuel half solar power) because I think it will more save the environment.
Red Hat • Yuri Gagarin’s feeling before the Vostok 1 was proud because he had been chosen to be a cosmonaut to Orbit the Earth and this was his first time experience a mission to Outer space. • His feeling during orbiting Earth was amazed because he could see the Earth with its beautiful view and he got more facts of Earths geography. • His feeling after the Vostok 1 mission was excited because he had the experience. He won many Legacies such as his sculpture displayed in the museum of aeronautics, and Tributes such as his pictures in the Russian coins ,medals ,trophy ,Nobel prizes and will become famous because of my hard work for this mission.
