  2. Technical information and cuts • Datasets used for analysis: • MC: MC11c Pythia Z->ee (5M), Z-> (5M); Sherpa Z->ee (400k), Z-> (400k) • Data: 2011 all data ~ 4.6 fb-1 • GRLs: • Electron channel: • data11_7TeV.periodAllYear_DetStatus-v35-pro09-03_CoolRunQuery-00-04-00_Eg_standard • Muon channel: • data11_7TeV.periodAllYear_DetStatus-v35-pro09-03_CoolRunQuery-00-04-00_WZjets_allchannels • The requirements are: • Triggers for Zee: EF_e20_medium – periods D-J; EF_e22_medium – period K; EF_e22vh_medium1 – periods L-M • Triggers for Z: EF_mu18_MG || EF_mu40_MSonly_barrel – periods D-I EF_mu18_MG_medium || EF_mu40_MSonly_barrel_medium – periods K-M • ET>5 GeV for photons; PT>15 GeV for electrons and muons, • ||<2.47 for electrons, ||<2.4 for muons, ||<2.37 for photons; excluding the crack region (1.37<||<1.52), • deltaR(l)>0.2 • Kinematics: 40 < M[ll] < 83 GevV, 80 < M[ll] < 96 GeV • Isolation: Etcone30_ptEDcorrected < 6 GeV • These and other cuts in details are documented here: • https://cdsweb.cern.ch/record/1437004 E.   3. Tight ID efficiency from Zll for unconverted photons Combined Zee& Z channels: data with stat and syst errors E. Soldatov 09.06.2012 №3

  4. Tight ID efficiency from Z->ll for converted photons Combined Zee& Z channels: data with stat and syst errors E. Soldatov 09.06.2012 №4

  5. Tight ID efficiency from Z->ll table The uncertainties include both statistical and systematic ones. E. Soldatov 09.06.2012 №5

  6. Tight ID efficiency from Z->ll table The uncertainties include both statistical and systematic ones. Maybe other binning? E. Soldatov 09.06.2012 №6

  7. Difference of Photon ID Efficiency from Z->ll between etcone40<5 GeV and etcone30<6 GeV MC unconverted MC converted E. Soldatov 09.06.2012 №7

  8. Difference of Photon ID Efficiency from Z->ll between etcone40<5 GeV and etcone30<6 GeV Data unconverted Data converted For higher energies – the photon ID group results can be used: https://cdsweb.cern.ch/record/1437004Plus additional systematics 1-2% from here. E. Soldatov 09.06.2012 №8

  9. Conclusions Photon ID efficiency study using Z radiative decays on MC11c (Pythia, Sherpa) and DATA 2011 ( ~4.6 fb^(-1) ) has been presented. Isolation requirement Etcone30_ptEDcorrected < 6 GeV has been applied. Resulting numbers has been compared. Agreement between different MC and Data is fine. Agreements between data and each of MC are on the same level. No MC samples (generators) preference has been discovered. Difference for efficiencies wrt different isolation requirement has been shown and can be applied as additional systematic error in the case of using photon ID efficiency results with other isolation requirement (e.g. results of EGamma Photon ID group for high energies).
