  2. Location • North-east of Slovakia, the basin of Košice • Rivers: Torysa, Delňa and Sekčov • 89 000 inhabitants • The third largest city of Slovakia

Calvary (Kalvária) • A complex of 14 baroque chapels of the stations of the cross and the Church of the Holy Cross • Chapel of the Holy Stairs, built in 1765, constructed to resemble the Sancta Scala chapel in Rome, financed by the duke Radziwill • A cemetery, a few aristocratic and townsman‘s crypts and also catacombs for the priests

  4. Neptune‘s fountain • The only original water cistern of Prešov that has been preserved • Construction funded by MarekHolländer • Built by Vincent Staviarsky, finished in 1826

St. Nicolas’ Church • The most significant historical feature of Prešov • The oldest building • Originally with a cemetery • The most of the original gothic and Renaissance furnishings have been ruined over time • Currently contains works by: theMolers, J. Weiss, Master Paul from Levoča and many others
