From 1992 it is the place of concerts "the Heart for the heart" Prof. Zbigniew Religa Foundation of the Development of the Cardiosurgery, where many famous singers appeared : Plácido Domingo, José Carreras and Chris de Burgh.
It is difficult to mention all the great which appeared at Houseof Music and Dance in the past half-century. For many years itwas called " The house on the route of stars”. Within 55 years there were over four thousand concerts with the participation above 7,5 millions of spectators.
There were many great concerts:Choir of Aleksander, Katie Melua, Marillion, Genesis Klassik, Cesaria Evora, Electric Light Orchestra, Moscow the City Ballet, Scorpions and many Polish groups and vocalists. There were also dancing performances, circus, cabaret, casting sessions to shows and regional events.
Currently the House of Music and Dance, after the overhaul, is one of best in the respect of technical specifications and safeties of concert-scenes in Poland - with the audience of2000 places and with the splendid organizational potential in the figure of experienced and fully professional team.
The spectacular hall of the House of Music and Dance belongs to the greatest in Poland. It was designed to platform-purposes . The good acoustics, practical armchairs and the visibility from every point of the hall permit the presentation of every type. The hall counts 1970 places arranged into the amphitheatrical system. For the better orientation one can receive the sketch of the audience.
