El abecedario: Los vocales* A E I O U (AH) (AY) (EE) (OH) (OO) *Vowels are called vocales in Spanish because they are pure; they come up from the vocal cords without any obstruction.

“Phonetically Perfect” • Since Spanish is nearly a phonetically perfect language, memorizing the vowel and consonant sounds leads to high levels of success • After just a brief intro, you should be able to do extremely well with the pronunciation of Act. 3 P.5 • Work with a partner to practice greetings at different times of the day
How you will be graded: • You will each be given a random two out of the 8 to perform for a grade (10 pts.)
