  3. Accomplishments • Ali was the messenger of peace in 2002 • When Ali was 18 he won the gold medal in boxing in the Rome Olympics in 1960 • Received the presidential medal of freedom on Nov. 9 2005 • Has a stadium Named after him • Has a memorabilia museum in his honor

  4. Qualities •  Donates time to work with kids • Cocky when it came to sports • Tough • Has a good heart • Talented • Fast

  5. Interesting Things While Muhammad Ali was in his career the United States Army tried to draft him to war, but Ali side no. He wound up not being drafted and the U.S. apologized and admitted that they were wrong. Even though that they said that they were wrong they sentenced him to 5 years in jail and a $10,000 fine and on top of that he was stripped of his boxing licenses. Ali wound up being able to box again.
