Writing in Standard Form • When writing numbers in standard form, remember to leave a space between the thousands and the units • Writing in standard form means you use digits • Remember to group the digits into groups of three • Remember, numbers with zeros in place values can be tricky
Writing Numbers in Words • Check your spelling • Remember to write the number in “chunks”. Put all the thousands together and all of the units together • Remember to not use “and”
Writing in Expanded Form • Make sure your number of zeros match the place value • Use plus signs between the groups of numbers
