Course Objectives • To teach fundamental concepts of electromagnetic wave propagation in various environments including guided waves and free space propagation. • The instructor and participants will discuss antennas, waveguides and other devices that use electromagnetic waves to transfer information. • Finally, specific simulation tools used to model and simulate electromagnetic devices will be introduced and practiced.
