A cat consumes 28 times its own body weight in food and water a year.
The weight of an average cat is 9 pounds so if it eats 28 times its own weight in food a year that would be 252 pounds of food a year.
I weigh 90 pounds so if I ate 28 times my weight in food a year that would be 2,520 pounds of food a year.
Or it would be 10,080 quarter pounders a year because 2,520 divided by ¼ is 10,080.
I would eat 10 times the amount of an average cat a year. A cat weighs 9 lbs and I weigh 90 lbs ,90 divided by 9 is 10.
