Why is Ramadan special ? • It is special to the Muslim people because only when they look at the moon they get out their Kuran (like our Bible) and start praying to God. • In Ramadan they clean their homes because they think that maybe one day God is going to come to their house and give them a special present. • Muslims fast for thirty days dusk to dawn.

  3. What are some of the things they do at the celebration!!? Just after the fasting ends they have a big feast and they start dancing and they have loud music. After they celebrate they do not go to bed they stay up all night. One of my experiences were that when everyone would put loud music I could not get sleep!!!

  4. What are some of the clothes they wear? • They wear their finest clothes. Sometimes they make clothes for their family or for them.

  5. What special songs do they sing or play? They play calm soothing music to show respect for God The Muslims do not have a particular song.

  6. Do they use special decorations. • They do not use decorations because they already cleaned their house. • In their house they only have a Kuran and a rug.
