  3. Survival Traits of an Ape 1. Apes usually live in packs for safety. 2.Males communicate by the "long call" for territorial and courting purposes.3. They pucker up their lips to feel the texture of a piece of fruit or food before they bite into it.

  4. Did you know Apes... …can be blue-black to brownish grey....can grow to be as tall as 170cm and weigh up to 165kg.…eat mainly fruits, leaves, termites, bark and grubs.
