The McDonald H&S Board members have met with some of the Longstreth H&S members several times now to help plan for next year. Please contact us to help be a part of that. We still have openings. You must fill out a Pretzel Sale flyer and return to school the Wednesday before Pretzel Day in an envelope with exact change, cash only. Pretzels are $.75 each. Well Wishes for the Yearbook – Here’s an opportunity to let your favorite 5th grader know how you feel about their upcoming graduation from McDonald-Davis. Give them your best wishes and/or advice for the future. Tell them how proud you are of them, or what a great friend they’ve been! These ads will be printed in the yearbook. Don’t delay! The cost of each booster ad is $5.00. • ALL WELL WISHES ARE DUE BACK BY MAY 11th!. A copy of the form can be found in the efolder.oney is due back by May 2nd. 5th Grade Trip to the Spirit of Philadelphia is Friday, June 1st from 9:00 to 3:00. • Money is due back by May 2nd. 5th Grade Ceremony - Thursday, June 14th for parents • Picnic for the students only will follow - more information to come!

  3. Spotlight Congratulations to the M&M’s for winning the District March Madness Titles by defeating the Angry Birds of Stackpole. Pictured to the left are M&M’s team members Matt Monaghan, Daulton Zeaman, and Jared Meltzer. Thank You to everyone who supported our Chick-fil-A Nights throughout the year. Congratulations to the students who found a cow in the library. • K Giana C • 1st Aliyah M • 2nd Tommy S • 3rd Rhiannon B • 4th Samantha M • 5th Jenna C To say "thanks" for a great fundraiser, Joe Corbi rewarded some of our students early this year. Mrs. Mays' and Mrs. Dusen's classes received pizza and cookie parties for their high participation. In addition, the students who sold 25 items or more were rewarded with the chance to "Jump for George"! Over 100 $1 dollar bills were taped end to end.... The students each got to "Jump for George"! They did a standing jump and as many "Georges" they jumped over, they got to keep them! Wow! Congratulations to the students below for both their athletic and fundraising abilities!
