CELL DIVISION By: Rebecca Bryant
Stage 1:INTERPHASE: What IS Happening? • Cell Grows • Explicates DNA • Prepares To Separate
Stage 2: Mitosis: Prophase • Nuclear Membrane Disappears :0 • Spindle Fibers Form Across Bridges • Forms Chromosomes
Stage 2: Mitosis: Metaphase • Duplicated Chromosomes Move To The Middle Of The Cell • Attaches To Spindle Fibers
Stage 2: Mitosis: Anaphase • Centromeres Splits • Moves Along The Spindle Fiber To One End Of Cell • Cell Becomes Stretched Out As Opposite Ends Pull Apart
Stage 2: Mitosis: Telophase • Chromosomes Begin To Stretch Out And Lose Their Rodlike Appearance • A New Nuclear Membrane Forms
Stage 3: Cytokinesis • Pinches In Around The Middle Of Cell • Pinches In Two • Ends Up With The Same Number Of Identical Chromosomes
