Preparation for Enrollment Changes Preparation Enrollment • Appointment – When? • Class Search – Which Class Sections?
Enrollment Appointments • When you may enroll and for how many units • If you do not have an appointment contact the Registrar
Enrollment Appointment Details • Student Specific • Date, Time(i.e., 10:00am, 3:00pm) of Day • Academic Load Limits
Class Search • Select SEARCH FORCLASSES
Schedule of Classes at a School for a Term • Select College and Term to view that Schedule of Classes
Class Search Criteria • At least two criteria
Class Search Criteria Filters • Other Search Criteria may be applied to filter classes • Days of week • Instruction Mode (i.e. Online)
Class Sections • The Section link is the catalog and (class) number
Class Details • Grading, Instruction Mode • Where and When • Eligibility - Pre/Co-Requisites • Available Seats • Catalog Description • Learning Materials

How the Shopping Cart Works • Holds a list of sections in which you would like to enroll • When Schedule is posted, then choose Class Sections • Placing a Class Section in the shopping cart is not enrolling in a class and does NOT guarantee a seat • Your seat is confirmed when you add a class with a success message during your Enrollment Appointment
Enrollment Shopping Cart link • Click the enrollment shopping cart link
Two Ways to put a Section in your Cart • Class Number • Class Search
1. Class Number • Enter the four or five digit class number • Click enter
1. Class Nbr 1. Class Number • Click NEXT
1. Class Number • Message confirms the class is in your cart
2. Class Number • College, term and career display • Select subject and other criteria as needed
2. Class Number • Class number in parentheses • Click the select class button
2. Class Number • Click the NEXT button
2. Class Number • Message confirms the class is in your cart
Validation • Confirms your eligibility • Confirms availability of a seat
Validation Examples • Not eligible to enroll • Advisor may be able to assist • Eligible to enroll • Right now a seat is available
Enrollment: Add • Select Enrollment: Add and then click the Go icon
Add Classes – Review Cart • Click the PROCEED TO STEP 2 OF 3 button
Confirm Classes to Finish Enrolling • Click the FINISH ENROLLING button
Enrollment Results • Unable to Add reason in the error message • In some cases, your advisor may be able to assist
Enrollment Changes Preparation Enrollment • Drop Classes • Swap Classes
Enrollment: Drop • Select the Enrollment: Drop and then the Go icon
Select Term Schedule • Select the Term radio button • Click the CONTINUEbutton
Select Class to Drop • Select the checkbox of each class to drop • Click DROP SELECTED CLASSESbutton
Confirm Class to Drop to Finish Dropping • Consider the impacts of dropping as shown • Only then click the FINISH DROPPINGbutton
Drop Classes Results • View Status and Message Result
About Swap Classes • Drop a Class and Enroll in a Class • Calendar Deadlines apply • Assures seat in new Class before giving up seat in class to be dropped • May avoid enrolled credits being less than number needed for financial aid • May need advisor to apply override
Enrollment: Swap • Select the Enrollment: Swap and then the Go icon
Select Class to Swap Out • Choose a class from your schedule to swap out
Search for Class to Swap In • Search for a class or enter a class number to swap in
Select Class Section to Swap In • Find a preferred Open class and click the select class button
Confirm Class to Swap In • Click the NEXT button
Confirm Swap to Finish Swapping • Review the drop class • Review the add class • Then click the FINISH SWAPPINGbutton
Swap Results • You have swapped classes successfully • The message confirms the class is added to your schedule • If you receive financial aid, then swapping may ensure you maintain required credits for your financial aid package
