Why GATE The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination that is conducted primarily for engineering aspirants who wish to either get admission to a national engineering institute or a job in leading national PSUs. This exam tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects of engineering and technology.

  3. Use of GATE Result 1.The GATE 2017 Results can be used for admissions to post-graduate programs like M.E., M. Tech, direct Ph.D., etc. in centrally funded Indian institutes for higher education. These are institutes which are provided financial assistance by the MHRD and other Government agencies in the nation. 2.The result is also used by a number of Public and Private Sector Undertakings for recruitment. One can get direct recruitment to Group-A level posts, such as Senior Field Officer and Senior Research Officer (SRO) in the Cabinet Secretariat or executive and trainee level jobs in PSUs.

  4. How to check the GATE Results In order to check the GATE 2017 Results, follow these steps: Go to the GOAPS official website (http://appsgate.iitr.ac.in) Enter Enrolment ID/Mobile Number/Email Address Enter your password Click the Submit button The GATE result will be displayed on the screen

  5. Facts About GATE Result 2017 After the declaration of GATE 2017 Results, the candidates will be able to download their GATE 2017 score card. The score cards will be issued to all candidates who score greater than or equal to the qualifying marks in their respective papers.
