Introduction CAT is an ultimate examination for all MBA aspirants, especially for candidates who wish to seek admission in one of the top MBA colleges in Delhi and around. Lakhs of students appear for this exam every year, but not all of them get admission in the college of their choice. Delhi has some excellent management colleges which offer a great environment and facilities for learning.
Eligibility Criteria for Exam: • Candidates need to have 50 % marks in graduation. • Final year graduation students can also apply. • The cut-off percentage for the SC and ST candidates is 45 %. • There is no restriction on age for writing the exam.
Important Dates to Remember: • The application form needs to be filled and submitted by 20 September 2017. • The Examination will be held on 26 November 2017. • The form can be filled up on www.iimcat.ac.in, where the candidate has to create a user profile. • The fees will have to be paid online.
Exam Pattern • Total questions will be 100 which will include subjective as well as MCQ questions. • There will be 3 sections including Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. • There will be the negative marking of 1 for every incorrect MCQ answer. No negative marketing for non-MCQ type questions.
