  2. Introduction XAT is an abbreviation for Xavier Aptitude Test, which is one of the most sought-after entrance exams conducted by the Xavier Labour Relation Institute (XLRI) located in Jamshedpur. However, nowadays the exam is co-managed and conducted by the XAMI. The result of the exam is accepted not just by XLRI, but also by numerous other top management schools like SP Jain Institute of Management and Birla Institute of Management Technology.

  3. Eligibility Criteria of XAT 2018 To appear for XAT, the aspiring candidates need to fulfill the following criteria: • Candidates need to possess a minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree from recognized university • The entrance is open to candidates with Indian citizenship • However, foreign and NRI candidates may apply using their GMAT scores

  4. Exam Pattern The XAT test pattern is as follows: • Section 1:  Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, and Decision Making • Section 2: GK and Essay Writing The examination is for 3.5 hours, from 10 am to 1:35 pm on 7 January 2018.

Application Form Filling Procedure • The XAT application form has to be filled online • This requires online registration • After successful registration, XAT ID is sent by email and password through text message • Use login and password to access the application form • Upload scanned image of signature and passport photo • Fill in details like academic qualifications and experience along with other details • After paying the application fee, the XAT application form filling process gets completed

  6. XAT 2018 Counseling Candidates clearing XAT 2018 will get shortlisted for subsequent rounds of admission. XAT management conducts counseling after publication of the results. The official website is what the students need to visit for counseling.

  7. Preparation for XAT The Xavier Aptitude Test is considered a gateway to success, as it allows you to join some of the best B-schools in the country. Cracking XAT requires hard work, and it is best to begin preparations well in advance. Also, be sure to solve mock tests to figure out which areas you are weak in so that you can focus on them more.
