  2. to heart attack. • When heart’s arteries get blocked, we are at very high risk of an heart attack. • These blockage can happen anywhere in the body. If blockage happens in kidneys, they can be recovered by taking timely corrective measures. • But it’s only heart, which suddenly stops functioning and we lose our life in 5 minutes. Why heart is so precious? • Like every other body organs our heart also needs food and oxygen. It gets its supply through 3 arteries which are not independent of each other.   3. Factors that lead to heart attack 1. High cholesterol: Bad cholesterol builds up inside and clogs the arteries 2. High blood pressure: Prolong high blood pressure makes the heart work harder and one day it stops working. 3. Diabetes: Prolong high glucose levels damage blood vessels. 4. Blood clot inside arteries: Because of any injuries , if any blood clot happens inside any of the heart arteries. There is a high risk of heart attack. 5.   5. Why heart attack is unaffordable? 1. During the heart attack, life ends in minutes. It is very difficult to recover in such a case. 2. When someone faces a heart attack. He/She needs medical attention within minutes. And in India It’s hard to get. 3. Reality is, there is a shortage of ambulance availability in Indian hospital. 4. Lack of updated medical technology is also a big issue. 5. This disease is also financially toxic. Financing hardship faced by patients is a big issue. Many don’t have a health insurance. 6.   6. How to have a healthy heart? 1. Eat healthy: Keep the diet balanced. And avoid bad cholesterol 2. Maintain healthy weight: Obesity is a root cause of many diseases. Heart attack is one. 3. Exercise: We must keep ourselves physically active. 4. Avoid alcohol: Limit the alcohol intake. 5. Quit smoking: Smoking may feel relaxing but it is also very harmful for your heart 6. Three heart tests: ECG, 2-D Echocardiogram, and CT Angiogram are three life saving tests.
