Field Guide Your team will be part of a mission to make over a stretch of ross avenue into a grand boulevard. Your group will be pit against other teams to try and drive energy, commerce, and attractiveness to your space. You have three days and three nights if you choose to accept this mission. Are you up to the challenge?
Boulevard Segments The competition will stretch from Pearl St. to Hall St. Five segments of the Boulevard will be themed with various city comforts.
Boulevard Principles This competition is not about Ross Avenue in particular. It is intended to be a reflection of what citizens of dallas would like to see on many streets. Focus your efforts on the small things -city comforts- that will make Dallas life more enticing: places where people can meet; methods to enable multiple transit options (driving, walking, bicycling, public transit); art that infuses personality into locations and makes them into places. All segments need the basic elements: Design of space Shade & Sun SeatING Food & Drink Art & Amenities
