  26. WHY save work to your home directory? • Need to complete a document, presentation at a later time • Need to edit a document at a later time or in another class • Any files saved into My Documents will erase and automatically delete every time you log off

  27. WHY protect your home directory? • YOU are responsible for every file in your home directory • Your work is important to you and your teacher

  28. HOW do you protect your home directory? • Never give your password to anyone else • Don’t allow anyone to use your computer when you are logged in • Always log out when you finish or when you get up from the computer
