The Society for the Environment, led by Dr. David Hickie, is an independent and non-political umbrella organization comprising 17 professional institutions and learned societies with a collective membership of 265,000 worldwide. Working with Chartered Environmentalists, it aims to promote sustainability through networks, forums, seminars, and online knowledge hubs. By providing access to a wide range of sustainability professionals, the Society seeks to inform, influence, integrate, inspire, and involve individuals looking to make a difference.
