  3. Why did the Iphone Succeed? • Multi-touch. This has to be the biggest breakthrough in mobile usability. Pinch and squeeze the items to zoom in and out, flick or swipe your finger across the interface to effortlessly move through your contacts and photo albums. • The iPod. Apple built the iphone with iPod users in mind. You don't need to carry two things around, and the iPod interface on the iphone is easiest and most feature-rich thus far. For those already tapped into the iTunes ecosystem, the iphone is an easy choice. • multi-lingual. This may not apply to individual phone owners, but being a touch-screen oriented device, the available languages are limitless, which is a very good thing for Apple supplying other countries with iphone, and app developers can write their applications for any number of languages.

Why did the Price Decrease so Rapidly? • New versions of the Iphone are rapidly created and models become outdated • New features are added to new Iphone and consumers no longer find the older model appealing • Price is high and many consumers cannot afford it so demand decreases • Competition from other companies offering similar products at lower prices

Predictions • Apple will continue improving the Iphone in order to dominate the market • Many consumers will continue to pay high prices as long as new features (for IPhone) are created • New IPhone models will be expensive at the beginning and drop in price within the first year by $100 or more and eventually decrease by a more stable amount • Consumers that are patient and wait to purchase new Iphone will be rewarded with big savings

  8. Recommendations to Consumers • Consumers should not rush to buy the newest versions of the I-Phone because prices will quickly decrease • People will buy a used I-Phone so keep it in good condition so you can resell it.

  9. Recommendations for Apple • I think Apple should continue to make more products, because new things got invented in these day. • To attract new customers I think Apple should have care more if your phone was stolen, and black list the serial number if you lost your iphone.
