  2. Wilbur Wilbur used to be Fern’s pig, but when he got too big to take care of, he moved to the Zuckerman’s. Now he has to worry about making it to winter alive.

  3. Charlotte Charlotte is a beautiful barn spider, who is determined to keep Wilber alive, instead of becoming Christmas dinner.

  4. Fern Fern is an 8 year old girl, who saves Wilbur from death at birth. She treats him like a human baby, then when he is too big for the family farm he moves to her uncle Zuckerman’s farm, where she visits him every day.

  5. Uncle Zuckerman Uncle Zuckerman owns the barn Wilbur moves to. He puts Wilbur in the county fair, and if Wilbur is unsuccessful in winning, he could become Christmas dinner.
