Putting it together • You can simply say: • nos gusta • os gusta • les gusta • me gusta • te gusta • le gusta For example: Me gusta cantar. = I like to sing. Te gusta nadar. = You like to swim. Les gusta comer. = They like to eat.
Practice saying what people like to do… • I like to walk. • You like to talk. • She likes to run. • We like to study. • They don’t like to work. • (A mí) me gusta caminar. • (A ti) te gusta hablar. • (A ella) le gusta correr. • (A nosotros) nos gusta estudiar. • (A ellos) no les gusta trabajar.
What if you want to say that people like THINGS, not actions/activities? such as: I like cats. She likes animals. He likes the movie. We don’t like the soup. etc. Careful! It matters if this part is singular (one thing) or plural (2 + things).
