  4. Today How do we get God’s best?

  5. God’s Best is Found… Not in relationships that don’t work Not in marriages that don’t last Not in fears that control us Not in loneliness that haunts us Not in addictions that imprison us Not in jobs that bore us Not in debt that consumes us

  6. Most Christians today are not experiencing God’s best!

  7. Not because God doesn’t want to give it to us!

  8. God Offers a Pathway to Receive His Best By His power and His grace You will receive the best that He has to give

  9. Jeremiah 11:4b “Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God.” NIV

  10. Jeremiah 49:32b “I will scatter to the winds those who are in distant places and will bring disaster on them from every side, declares the Lord.” NIV

  11. When we do things, whether as a nation or as individuals, that are not on the same path with God, judgment eventually will come.

Life Lessons from Daniel • We are not at the mercy of a pagan culture. • The future of our world will be determined by who captures the next generation. • Protection of our children from our culture is impossible, but preparation of them isimperative. • With Biblical conviction and a courageous spirit, the next generation can transform the Babylonian culture of our day.

  16. The Responsibility for Transformation • Starts with me in my own life • Then with my family • And then with my close friends

  17. You Have Everything You Need • God’s power • God’s word • A community of believers

  18. God’s Best Begins • When we get serious about being intentional in our walk with God • When we refuse to compromise in spite of the cost

  19. Proverbs 13:20 “He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.” NIV

  20. Romans 12:2 “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” NIV

  22. What do you need to say “no” to in order to experience God’s best? What do you need to say “yes” to in order to renew your mind and experience God’s good, acceptable and perfect will?
