  2. What’s the problem? Our goal is to design something to help people with mental health , and suicidal thoughts feel safe and special. We selected this topic because we feel like this is one of the most serious issue going by in this world. We address people with suicidal thoughts , self harm ,and/or mental health by building a mini emotional service robot and watch.

  3. What’s our solution ? We will design a emotional service mini robot along with a tracking watch. The purpose of the robot is for comfort and support. The watch is for tracking and supporting . It tracks the total time they have had sundial thoughts and help you get through your hard times.

  4. Using the engineering design process We’re using the engineering design process by thinking about our solution , imagining how it will help people around the world , generating a design , and were planning to execute the plan by making a prototype robot and watch. Then we will refine the prototype by modifying it .Finally, we will share our ideas to the world.

  5. Our budget If we were to actually build a mini robot and watch it would cost around $2000 . The robot itself will cost $1300 and the watch itself will cost an average of $700. Though the budget might be a little pricey , we need this money to help people with mental health and suicidal thoughts.

  6. Women in STEM Louann Brizendine is an American scientist , a neuropsychologist who is both a researcher and a clinician and professor at the university of California,San Francisco.
