  2. This act takes place in • Elsinore • Elsinore is located in Denmark

  3. Main characters in the scene • Hamlet- The main character in the book • Rosencrantz – One of Hamlets best friends • Guildenstern – The other one of Hamlet’s best friends!

  4. Main idea in Lines 274-282 • Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were bribed to come visit Hamlet after hearing that he hasn’t been himself since his father has passed away. Hamlet’s upset because they were sent to check up on him. Hamlet has a feeling that they were sent to check up on him and Guildenstern and Rosencrantz admit that they were bribed to come see him. Hamlet was very angry that they were bribed to come but doesn’t rat out his best friends to the queen and king.

  5. Our opinions • We feel that It’s messed up that his best friends were bribed to come see him instead of coming to see him without getting bribed. • We feel that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern aren’t true friends to Hamlet because we feel that they wouldn’t of came to see Hamlet unless they were bribed. • I think Hamlet knows that they aren’t true friends.

  6. What’s going to happen next? • We guess that something is going to happen to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are going to get in trouble for admitting to Hamlet that they were bribed!
