  3. INTRODUCCIÓN La historia del rey Asa, de Judá. Su historia se encuentra en 2º Crónicas 14 al 16

  4. TEXTO 2º de Crónicas 14:1-7

  5. IDEA EXEGÉTICA El pasaje habla acerca de un hombre que se comprometió totalmente con Dios.

  6. PROPOSICIÓN Establezcamos un compromiso serio con el Señor.

  7. INTERROGACIÓN Pregúntate, ¿Qué tan serio es mi compromiso con el Señor?

  8. INTERROGACIÓN Tal vez tú crees que has establecido un compromiso serio, completo con el Señor.

  9. INTERROGACIÓN ¿Es esto realmente así? ¿Cómo podemos saber si nuestro compromiso con el Señor es realmente serio?

  10. TRANSICIÓN En estos versículos encontramos ciertas conductas que caracterizaron como muy serio el compromiso que el rey Asa estableció con el Señor.

  11. TRANSICIÓN Yo te invito a que compares tu compromiso con el Señor con el del rey Asa, y puedas así definir el grado de seriedad de tu compromiso con Dios.

  12. ASA BUSCÓ AL SEÑOR DE TODO CORAZÓN • Buscar a Jehová es ‘buscar las cosas de arriba’ • Buscar a Jehová es ‘poner por obra la ley (de Jehová) y sus mandamientos.

  13. ASA SIRVIÓ AL SEÑOR DE TODO CORAZÓN • “Porque quitó los altares… • “… quebró las imágenes • 15:6 “y aún a Maaca madre del rey Asa… • Hoy el pueblo de Dios se ve muy influenciado por el mundo que nos rodea.

  14. TRANSICIÓN Aun sin hacerle justicia plena al pasaje, permítanme ir a mi tercero y último pensamiento de este mensaje.

  15. ASA FUE PLENAMENTE SATISFECHO POR EL SEÑOR • El buscar y servir a Jehová nos trae paz. • El buscar y servir a Jehová nos trae prosperidad. • ¿Qué entiendes tú por ‘paz y prosperidad’?

  16. IV. CONCLUSIÓN La verdadera satisfacción y contentamiento se encuentran solamente en el Señor, específicamente cuando le servimos, le obedecemos y disfrutamos las bendiciones que él nos da.
