Co-requisite • In order to take English 1A, which is required for transfer students, you must take both ENSL 110 and ENSL 155. • Most students will take both the same semester, but if you can only take one, you must take 55 before 10.
Work Load • There will be homework for every class: grammar, writing or reading. • There will be many short writing assignments, to be done either at home or in class. • There will also be 7 longer, more formal essays.
Lab Requirement • We will be in the computer lab every Monday and Wednesday from 1-2. • In the lab you will write papers, use grammar software, or do Internet research. • You can also use the lab on your own. • You can get a writing tutor to work with in the lab. • I will be in the lab for tutoring Thursday 1-2 and Friday 9-11

Final Grades • A = 225+ points • B = 200-224 points • C = 175-199 points • D = 150-174 points • F = Below 150 points
