What is the profile of the respondents according to: • Age, sex, year level, birth order, school of origin, educational attainment of parents, average monthly family income, living status of parents 2. What is the type and extent of effect of bullying experienced by the respondents? • Physical bullying, social bullying, verbal bullying 3. What is the effect of bullying experience on the well being of the respondents? 4. Is there a significant relationship between the types and extent of bullying experience and the effects on the well-being of the respondents? 5. Based on the findings of the study, what possible interventions can be developed to address the effects of bullying on students’ well-being?

The descriptive-correlational design using survey was used in this study • The main data gathering tool that was used in this study was a questionnaire (Anderson, 2007) • Respondents were the 2,104 high school students from Western Cagayan School of Arts and Trades, Nabannagan National High School, Cabatacan National High School, Lasam Academy, San Lorenzo Ruiz Educational Institute, Callao National High School and Sicalao Integrated School • Profile

CONCLUSIONS • It is highly conclusive that bullying exists in all secondary schools in Western Cagayan with almost all students experienced physical, social and verbal bullying and lasted for less than a week. • Detrimental effects of bullying on the well-being are also evident on the behavioral, emotional, intellectual, physical, creative, and social dimensions. It also showed the significant relationship between the types and extent of bullying and the effects on the well-being of students. That the longer time the students are bullied physically, socially and verbally the more their behavioral, emotional, intellectual, physical, creative and social well-being are affected.
