  9. Chapter 12 • Paul states we are all united under holy spirit • Spirit is expression of wisdom • Diverse population because that’s how god wanted it • There is a part of the holy spirit in all • All connected through the holy spirit.

  10. I Corinthians 12: 12-13 “ As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons, and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.”

  11. Chapter 13 • Love is patient • Love is kind • Love is not selfish • Love is not ill tempered • Love bears and endures all things • Love is the foundation of all

  12. I Corinthians 13:1-3 “If I speak in human and angelic tongues, but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away everything I own, and if I hand my body over so that I may boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.”

  13. Chapter 14 • Pursue love but maintain spirit • Appreciate the prophecy • Private speech is important speech • Tongues are for non believers

  14. I Corinthians 14:18-19 “I give thanks to God that I speak in tongues more than any of you, but in the church I would rather speak five words with my mind, so as to instruct others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue.”

After that, he appeared to more then five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.”

  17. Chapter 16 • Paul’s ideas to unify jews and gentiles • Retouches his beliefs • End his series of letters

  18. I Corinthians 16:22-24 “If anyone does not love the Lord, let him be accursed. Marana tha. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. My love to all of you in Christ Jesus.”
