  4. A Great Resourcehttp://success.ode.state.oh.us/

  5. How to find it? • www.greenlocalschools.org • District buildings • Kleckner • Parent Information • Ohio Achievement Test Help • This website provides practice tests and gives information about what is expected of your child during testing. It is also a great resource to interpret your child’s test results this summer.

  6. How to start helping your child prepare for the test. • Assure them that they will be able to do it. • Review test questions online or print off a test to review. • Talk about any anxiety they may have about tests and share your own experiences. • Avoid excessive study. Assure your child that they have been preparing for this all year long.

  7. How to help your child the night before testing. • Be sure to share some ideas on how to relax before a big test. • Robot/ Ragdoll • Bubblegum Breath • Postive Thoughts. “ I can do it” • Have a good dinner. • Get plenty of rest

  8. Test Day! • Be sure your child has a good breakfast. Lunches will be later these days. • Make sure to be on time to school. • Encourage them to do their best. • Plan to do something fun that evening to celebrate. Ex- a bike ride or a trip to the park!

  9. Test Results • The district hopes to receive results by the end of June. • The district will then distribute results to families by mail this summer. Please be sure you have updated your address with the main office so the results can be delivered correctly.

  10. Thank you for coming! Please feel free to contact your classroom teachers or Mrs. Bauer with any future questions.
