  3. The Picturesque Villages in Tinos Pyrgos Volax 1. 2. The village Pyrgos (or also called Panormos) is the so-called marble village of Greece in Tinos. It’s one of the most picturesque villages we ever visited and you can find marble sculptures around every corner. Many well-known artists have been studying this special artwork in the famous marble school of the small village Pyrgos.

My favorite beach in Tinos has been Kolympithra Beach. It is a beautiful bay with some incredible blue water and soft sand. For our last day, we visited a winery in Tinos which is called T- OINOS. The special soil and the microclimate of the island create a very characteristic wine! During a tour, we first visited the vineyards and of course, also tried the different wines producing. Religion plays an important role for many Greeks. Even the tiniest villages have at least one church and most of them are built with marble which is very typical for Tinos.   5. Staying At the Aeolis Tinos Suites We stayed at the Aeolis Tinos Suites and really fell in love with this place! It is located up in the mountains with an incredible view of the island with the sea in the background! The price-performance ratio is very good! They have many different suite categories with all unique interior designs! We absolutely enjoyed our three nights in Tinos and have been so happy that we decided to visit this lesser-known Greek island!
