The Austrian Institute As chairman I have strongly supported the following issues • modernizing the professional image of the business consultant, • establishing the CMC Masters Club (Discussion Meeting Point), • positioning the “Austrian IT- and Consultants` Day” (”Österreichischer IT- & Beratertag”) as a top congress for experts, • attaining a state award for UBIT members, • establishing a cost-effective liability insurance for all UBIT members

The Austrian Institute  The new core themes of our future work at the Federal Division UBIT will be • establishing a grassroots “Members` Conference” (open space event) • building transparency in the IT and Consultancy Branch • providing and promoting quality and qualification by implementing the framework of “Incite new” (Acadamy for Management and IT Consulting) • boardofgovernors (new course!) • consistently claiming the establishment of a Ministry for ICT • promoting the brand CMC • Cooperation with FEACO and ICMCI • If: each member has the same

The Austrian Institute  What we are looking for? • Support concerning the CEN standard on Management Consultancy, escpecially from large consulting companies and / or representatives of the Pendo Group (ie as member of the CEN project committee or as nominated part of the "mirror group" which consists of stakeholders in the various countries). • Lobbying in Brussels concerning • professionel representation for Management Consultants • furtherances in IT and consulting • promoting the brand CMC • International „Constantinus“
