  2. Introduction to Asateel The ITC has implemented the ‘Asateel’ platform, a real-time vehicle tracking system to ensure heavy vehicle registration and tracking in Abu Dhabi. This method makes buses and other mass transit providers safer while giving companies a simple way to get licenses and track their vehicles electronically. Asateel aims to streamline the permit application process, reduce paperwork, and improve compliance with the regulations. It covers a wide range of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, tankers, and buses. It is an online platform for managing heavy vehicle permits in Abu Dhabi Emirate.

  3. The Asateel (ITC) Registration Process is a comprehensive vehicle registration and tracking system that can be used to track vehicles in real time. The registration process involves entering the vehicle’s details such as make, model, registration number, etc. into the system. Once registered, the vehicle can be tracked and monitored using GPS technology. GPS installation is required to enable real-time tracking. This can be done by a Vzone International Company. Once installed, the GPS device will transmit the vehicle’s location data to the Asateel (ITC) system, allowing you to track the vehicle’s location in real time.

Company Registration • Click the link https://asateel.itc.gov.ae/iavmep to register your Company • Choose the option: "Start Register Wizard" Select option for "Inside Abu Dhabi" or "Outside Abu Dhabi"  • Accepting Terms and Conditions for the Platform Usage • Next provide the following details1. Trade License Number2. Trade License Expiry Date Once the company registration is successfully completed, then you will be given access to the Asateel Platform, where you can submit requests for licenses linked to tracking and monitoring activities.

  7. Documents Required for Vehicle Registration • MulkiyaCopy of any Vehicle • Authorized Mobile Number linked to ITC portal (to receive OTP) • GPS Tracking System Installation Certificate from an approved Supplier

Vehicle Registration • Go to Administration Menu > Vehicle > Vehicle Register • Click on "Add Traffic Code"  and input your TC Number Once the vehicle is registered, the owner or operator must renew the registration annually and ensure that the vehicle complies with the relevant regulations, such as the safety and emissions standards. Your Asateel account will be automatically connected to all Vehicles registered under the given TC Number.

The permits are issued by the Abu Dhabi government's Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) through the ASATEEL platform.
