  1. Making a picture of myself in E12 After you receive all the data I have thus far, please complete the following:

  2. Look at the diagnostic. Write down the skill that is tested- it is listed on the answer sheet – and make a graph showing the issues the data revealed by the skill that the questions addresses. For example make a graph showing how many comprehension questions were an issue, etc. • This part of the graph represents the number of comprehension questions I missed, etc. Mark the answer sheet and look at the skill.

  3. The next piece of data is your paragraph, explaining how to move from the prompt to the thesis. Again, make some kind of graph or representation of the problems with the paragraph. I have typed a paragraph to try and clear up an issues with that process. Read this closely and make sure you understand the process of moving from prompt to thesis. • Indentations, spelling and mechanical errors, etc… Those should be captured, as well.

  4. You will also have your quiz which reflected vocabulary, terms, and content. Review the quiz to take note of what you still need to study. Add this to your graph. • The paragraphs to topic sentence and thesis sentence. • Add these aspects to your graph/chart. • Your Secrets of Stonehenge responses should be reviewed as well. If you actually watched the program – and that was obvious – content took care of itself. • Some definitions were askew. Check these. • Other than that, note spelling, and mechanical errors. For example, what do you do when you write the name of a TV program? If you don’t know, look it up. OWL writing lab is a resource and there are many in our room.

  5. You should now have a picture of yourself, thus far in E12. • Tomorrow, a grade will be taken on the following: • What did my data show, based on the assigned chart/graph. • What are my goals for English 12? State them. • What are my strategies to accomplish my goals? • TYPED…
