Science is a subject we study in school that helps explain how things work in the world. Magnets, habitats, rocks & minerals, soils, fossils, & ecology are the focus for 3rd grade.
Social Studies is a subject in school we study in school that helps explain about the past. Government, Ancient Greece, map skills, economics, & 9 historical figures are the topics for 3rd grade.
Main idea is the most important thought from a paragraph or larger section of text.
Characters are animals, people, or things represented in a text.
