  3. What is Esperanza? • Indoor soccer • Every week • 3 groups (everygroup 1 hour) • 2 teams in regularcompetition (Esperanzaand t Initiatief) • Supportedbyvolunteerswithsocial background

  4. Whatmakesitdifficulttoparticipate in regularsettings? • Western structure • Rules • Appointments • Meetings • Money • Buymaterial • Needidentity papers forinsurance • …

  5. Why is Esperanza different? • Open structure: whenyou want toplay, you’rewelcome • It’s free • Everbody’swelcome • No papers needed • Only a few rules

  6. More thansoccer? As a team: • Diversity of people (young, older, psychiatric, refugees, ..) • Respect forown team, other team, referee etc. • Learnhowtoplaytogether as a team • Respect for the rules: forexample, onlyspeakdutchduring the game.

How does itwork? • Whenyou want toplay, youcancometo the training for 1 hour • Youcanchoosewhichgroup, everygroup has different peopleand level • Ifyou want toplay in the regular team, youjust have to say it. Ifyoucometo the training youwill get your chance. • You have to respect the rules, ifyoudon’t, youcanbesend out. Next week we will talk andyou are verywelcomeagain.
