  2. Are made of cells. A wolf is an animal so they have animal cells.

  3. Obtain and use energy and nutrients. Coyotes eat a lot of different things, some of them are: livestock, rabbits, snakes squirrels, bird’s, berries ,and cat food. They are scavengers.

  4. Grow and develop They weigh 15 to 45 pounds. They have about 6 kids. Their length is about 46-60 inches.(With tail) They shed once a year.

  5. Respond to the environment Coyotes have a territory, they mark it by leaving their scent on it. Coyotes usually dig their own homes, but sometimes if they find an old badger hole they make it bigger.

  6. Reproduce A coyote usually has 6 pups at one time. It takes them 60-63 days to reproduce.

  7. Adapt to the environment Coyotes live mostly on the planes, but they can live wherever food is available. They live in North America and parts of Canada, even in Alaska.

  8. Inherit traits Coyotes get their traits from their parents. Coyotes thrive in suburban settings and sometimes in towns.
