  2. * 정조대왕 능행차란 1776년 3월 조선조 제22대 왕으로 즉위한 정조가 비운에 돌아가신 아버지 사도세자의 묘를 1789년에 수원부 화산(현 화성군 태안읍)으로 옮기고,지극한 효성으로 이곳을 자주 참배하였는데, 이 참배시 행하여진 왕의 행렬을 말한다

  3. *정조대왕능행차 실시 수원시에서는 이 행렬을 세계최대의 가두 퍼레이드로 발전시키기 위해 세계문화 유산인 "화성" 축성 200주년 기념사업의 일환으로 지난 1996년부터 매년 정례적으로 실시한다.

  4. *행렬의 구성 이 행차의 특징은 관례상 국왕이 중앙에 위치하는 다른 행차와는 달리 정조가 앞에서 인도하고 혜경궁 홍씨가 행렬의 중심으로 다른 행렬과 조금 다르게 이루어져 있다.
