  4. What did we read last time? • What genre is this book? • Who is the protagonist (the main guy)? • What happened after Gregand Rowley signed up forSafety Patrol?

  5. Time to read… • Try to listen to the teacher read with proper emotions – feel how Greg feels.

  6. Question time! • What did Greg do? • Did Greg get punished? • What happened to Rowley? • What is the lesson learnt for Greg?

  7. Enjoy the Movie!

  8. Think… • What if you were Rowley? How would you feel if you were cheated like him? • Betrayed? • Trusted the wrong friend? • Hate Greg? • Lost faith in friendship?

Diary • What are the features of a diary entry? • Who is it meant to be written for? • Formal or informal? • What do you write about in a diary entry? • Sample of diary:  • I think I might just know what this is all about. I decided to have some fun with the kids. I knew if I confessed, I'd lose my hot chocolate privileges.

  10. Now time to write your own diary! • Get in a group of 4 and write (and draw pictures) from Rowley’s perspective…

  11. Share your diary • Again, read aloud your emotions.

  12. Almost the end of class… • So… what have you learnt in this lesson?
