L’impératif • When you tell someone to do something, you use the command form of the verb – this is the imperative (impératif)

How to conjugate the verbs? • You can use one of 3 forms in French • Tu (informal command) • Vous (formal command) • Nous (suggestion/advice “let’s…”) • Conjugate the verbs normally except don’t write the “tu”, “vous” or “nous”
-er verbs • Tudanses. Danse! You dance. Dance! • Vousdansez. Dansez! You dance. Dance! • Nous dansons. Dansons! We dance. Let’s dance!
-ir verbs • Tu finis. Finis! You finish. Finish! • Vousfinissez. Finissez! You finish. Finish! • Nous finissons. Finissons! We finish. Let’s finish!
