Simply increase the orange juice to 3 tablespoons. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the mezcal, turmeric, orange juice, agave nectar, and the juice of 1/2 lime. Shake well.On a small plate, mix together the salt and ground turmeric.Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass, then dip the rim in the salt and turmeric mixture. Serve the margarita over ice.
